A lot of my friends got hair extensions n it really looks as if its their real hair. as a result, i have always wondered how this is accomplished, and how do the hairstylists do it??

if you would like to do this yourself with glue, it is relitivly easy ( for those who are somewhat hair savy). first you should get hair that is on a track or a welft for weaving. lose or bulk hair is for braiding or fusion extention. with glue one pack is usually good for normal hair, 2 packs for thick.

1.)start at the botttom sectioning out about a 2inch wide section at the nape of ur neck ( pin the rest of u hair up)

2.) meaure out a peice of hair the same wheith of the nape of ur neck.

3. cut the track to that leinth and apply a thin squeze of glue ( you should be able to find hair glue at the same place you buy the hair) along the top band of the track.

4. place the track in the part of the section that is left down. press and hold till it sicks.

5. take down a nother section of hair and repeat steps 2 though 4.

6.) continue until u reach the top of your haead probally about mid crown ( or lower if your hair is thin) and leave the top section of your hair to fall over the last track.

Congratulations your done! be careful when combing or brushing as the tracks can sip out, hold the top of you hair when brushing down to the end. it you wash your hair ( i wouldent reckamend it) do not use conditioner because it breaks down the glue. Some find that washing only the top section that covers the tracks can refresh your look with you having to worry about losing ur extentions. this should last 2 weeks to a month depending on how oily your hair gets in that time. to remove, use conditioner or any other oil based product to break down the glue and then comb out any of the remaing glue in your hair.

dont get them they ruin ur hair go for the clip in ones ur hair dresser will show u how to put them in, dont know where u from but i teach hair dressing and i wouldnt recommend them the clip in 1s r so much kinder to ur hair u wont go bald wit them

Glued or sewn in but it can be realy pricey. But if you want them to look real then you have to buy expensive hair pieces but worth it if its the look you want. Just ask your girlfriends how its done and if you are thinking of getting them since theirs looked so good go to thier stylist.
