i have had them done twice, they were glued in and hurt like hell!! everysite i have looked at says they shouldn't hurt. Just curious.

You're obviously tender headed. Your scalp just may be uber sensitive to the glue or something. And braiding them in probably wouldn't be any better. Fusion hair extensions would be your best bet - but they're a little bit more expensive. Actually, a lot more expensive. It's an extensive procedure where they take a fusion gun and actually melt an extension of hair right onto the midshaft of your hair. Individually. It's time consuming. But they also last longer than tracks that are glued in.

yea they dont hurt if you get clip i and out ones and they look totally real
