Sometimes they look nice my friend Brittney had some that looked almost real and it looked really nice, but the braided ones look very ghetto to me, I don't know that much since I'm not African America, but I always thought natural hair looks best on all women.

I guess if you find the right color or you think your hair is way to short. But i personally would not wear extensions(if it were short) but my hair is long, i guess its how you feel, just make sure that it looks good,ya gotta represent. :) . Hope that helps. -D

i have short hair, and i think that clip on's may be a reach. you might have to buy so many of them. is it that you want the versatility of different styles, then maybe try a wig. I wear them as do my friends and if you get a nice human hair one then it will last a while. also you can take it off at night and let your hair rest and breathe.

i think clip in extensions would be totally fine on black hair. i currently use clip in extensions. i'm not black, but i don't see how it would be any different.
i've glued extensions before, and that KILLED my hair. and i've heard braiding them is just as bad. no one can tell the difference between clips or glued anyways, so it's way better to trreat your hair nice!
i say go for it. everyone thinks it's my real hair unless i decide to tell them it's not.
