Apparently lots of people wear them. My natural hair is shoulder length %26amp; even I put some extensions in every now %26amp; then.

The blonde lady that sits across from me at work put some in this summer. Her hair was 1/2 way down her back without them %26amp; she still added them.

Some people use them to create the illusion of long hair or thicker fuller hair.....others use extensions to add highlights chunks and streaks without having to bleach or dye their hair....there's also people that use them to create different hairstyles such as dreads, braids, twists....and also to create some wicked awesome hair styles like helicopters, spiderwebs....etc...
