Can you perm your hair when, you have hair extensions in?

Im an African American girl and my hair is real thick and i get new growth really quickly. if hair extensions are supposed to be able to last anywhere from up to 3-6 months and your supposed to get a perm about every 6 weeks how am i supposed to carry my hair with extensions to its full term. i know you can wash your hair with them in but can you perm your hair is the question?

you can retouch your front, top, edges and back.... the part of your hair that actually shows... but If i were you, I wouldnt have extensions in for no more than 3 months........ you dont want your own hair to get matted

na don't do it ur hairs gone be all over the place. just wait til u get the extentions out then do it.

yes you can just try and bend head forward and clip extensions in a bun. rinse really well esp the braid or glued part it will neutralize they will be ok.

the question is for yourself do you want extensions or permed hair. You can not perm hair with the extensions in your hair shaft will be to fragile. perm is supposed to break down the hair and if in extensions you will not break down properly. what u can do is keep it moist and conditioned after washing, until u are ready to take your extensions out. Wait 2 to 4 days before perming.

No you can't because what's the point of having hair extensions if your just going to perm your hair. So really you can but it would be pointless.

I strongly suggest you don't. Perm is a chemical and if you leave the slightest amount in your hair, your hair could fall out and your scalp could be damaged. Also braids should be worn 6-8 weeks as anything longer could damage your hair.
