just about anything you do to your hair is damaging. However if you go to a salon and have them do them and go back to have the extensions removed you shouldn't see a difference in your hair. maybe if you did your hair with extensions a lot then you would see your hair breaking and it will look thinner. have you seen paris without her extensions, her hair is horrible and sooo thin from wearing extensions ALL THE TIME%26gt;

if you take care of them well then they dont, but if you dont take care of them well then they can cause serious damage

Well first of all they don't do anything good for your hair besides the appearance. It doesn't make it grow in any thicker or nicer. And onen you take them out your hairs not in the best condition. They're not good for your hair at all, and quite frankly glued-in extensions are typically a lot better and a bit cheaper ;]
